Gandalf’s Win10PE x86 Redstone build 14393 version 11-07-2016
This is a new release of my Windows 10PE x86 Redstone build 14393 version 11-07-2016. This version should work on systems with 2GB of ram. Burn with rufus using the default settings. The apps listed below are included in this build. Programs in Blue are new and programs in Green have been updated in this release. Many NEW APPS added to this release.

Ethernet card driver and lpt/serial port driver were not installed automatically on my desktop. I installed them from device manager manually.

the problem is vmware I’m solve the problem creating new network interface..
It is not possible to run programs that require runtimes. For example: File Fisher needs Runtime Environment 1.4.0
I have downloaded and written the
Gandalf’s Win10PE x86 Redstone build 14393 version 11-07-2016.iso
onto a 32GB USB flash drive.
When I booted from this USB flash drive the Gandalf system seems to boot at first. I can see “Press key to boot from USB….”.
After having pressed a key the screen gets black and collapses and the “normal” current Win 7 system from my hard disk is booted.
I guess this is an error for this particular system.
When I use the Gandalf flash drive on other computers it works.
So I guess a driver is missing – most possible the one for my high resolution UHD graphic card.
Is this normal?
Ok, the web page offers a video tutorial on how to add some more drivers.
But if possible I want to avoid this.
I expected something like a fallback driver hierarchy.
When Gandalf ToolCD does not find such a high resolution video driver it should use and load a default video driver (with less functionality).
Obviously this is not the case.
Can someone confirm this?
Maybe the video driver is not the culprit: How do I find out the real reason for the collapse at but time? Is there a Gandalf logfile on USB flash drive?

Everything works great but i have no access to the local drive it says that i need for format it. Local drive meaning the where the windows installation is located.
Anybody knows how to fix this?

Just found this site! Great Stuff, going to test out this build now, lets see if it lives up to the hype.
@vmware users,
Before running virtual machine, Go To settings and add network adapter,
Then update the network adapter settings options to:
++ Auto connect at power on,
++ Check the option to connect direct to the local NAT
I think its the second option.

++ A Quick and easy way to solve issues.
In my past builds, I Added some driver packs from driverpacks.net, its easy, just create a zip of common drivers and add to ISO for more functionality, plus don’t have to alter your current PE Build, when users need it add a desktop link to auto install drivers from the zip. create the extra Zip with the drivers and Infs, then use a modified version of Hiren’s Boot CD network drivers installer script.

Found this through the Register, a user called ‘English-Sheep-Shagger’ from London posted it.
It works great, only problem is the Intel graphics driver for the HD Graphics 4600 does not load. The Cpu is an i3-4000M.
I have mounted the wim, removed your Intel graphics driver already in the image and replaced it using the Dism /Add-Driver command. I used the latest compatible driver from the Intel site.
This completes successfully but the driver still fails to load when booted. If I try and load it when Winpe is already booted it asks to be rebooted.
Use the instructions shown in this video but instead of adding the network driver add a display driver. Then point to your original local c: drive for your driver repository folder and and select that location should be d:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository it should pick up your original display driver and not require a reboot.

One problem that I have is with my PS/2 mouse. I get error code 10 with insufficient system resources exist to complete the api.
Any solution?
No idea sorry. Its been a while since I used a PS/2 mouse. Have you tried a usb mouse?

I get a few problems whitch I want to share:
– Wire Shark Portable not working, unable to load WinPcap (wpcap.dll)
– Paragon Partition Magic not working, the path from the lnk does not exist
Tried and failed .. hmmm
