This is a new release of my PE.  This is Gandalf’s Win10PE x86 Redstone 3 build 16299 version 01-27-2018.  I will update the apps in the build shortly. All apps that were triggering virus alerts have been removed, even though most were false positives.  Beginning with this build, l will be updating it on a monthly basis.

A BIG THANKS to ChrisR and everyone over at without whom this build would not be possible. If you’re interested in making your own build be sure to check them out.

Download from OneDrive not available yet                                             Download from Google Drive

It’s a very large download almost 4gb so be patient it can take 30-60 minutes (depending on your internet speed) to download.  After downloading, burn the bootable ISO file to  a USBe of 8gb or larger, using rufus or a similar program to create your bootable USB.  Do not burn to DVD, since many apps need to write data to the application folder.  If download doesn’t work on OneDrive  it’s because MS is preventing my sharing to everyone, so send me a comment with a good email and I will add your email to the share.

Hi, which apps require write access to the application folder? I want to check if they work when booting from Easy2Boot as an ISO from a USB drive…

    • gandalf50 says:

off the top of my head, I’m pretty sure all the browsers do, but there are many others that will fail if they cant write to the Y: drive

  3. Allan Freitas says:

Are you planning to do x64 version?
Or plans for upgraded version of Windows 7 x32 and x64?

    • gandalf50 says:

no plans on updates for windows 7

      • Gene says:

The W7 x64 (for those of us who much prefer W7) is one that I and others have requested before. But I can appreciate that time and resources for such a thing may be limited. It would be great to see a **fully updated** W7 x64 edition release come out before MS retires W7 in 2020. A summary W7 PE, “for the record”, so to speak. Is there anything (practical) that we could do to encourage this ?
