Thank you for your work!

Hi, which apps require write access to the application folder? I want to check if they work when booting from Easy2Boot as an ISO from a USB drive…
thanks,
Steve
off the top of my head, I’m pretty sure all the browsers do, but there are many others that will fail if they cant write to the Y: drive
Are you planning to do x64 version?
Or plans for upgraded version of Windows 7 x32 and x64?
yes
no plans on updates for windows 7
The W7 x64 (for those of us who much prefer W7) is one that I and others have requested before. But I can appreciate that time and resources for such a thing may be limited. It would be great to see a **fully updated** W7 x64 edition release come out before MS retires W7 in 2020. A summary W7 PE, “for the record”, so to speak. Is there anything (practical) that we could do to encourage this ?
I will look into this.
thank you (on google drive, 5 minutes, excellent speed)
Hi Gandalf, thanks for this new build. Seems to run great, except for Crystaldiskinfo which throws an error.
You can try adding PEStartup to your USB drive.
http://rmprepusb.blogspot.co.uk/2017/10/updated-pestartup-download.html
this IS a 64 bit version.al least on vm works with 64 bit win.with 86 bit it crash
it is x86 https://imgur.com/a/NI5dY
Great Job, many thx.
Is it possible to add/install an own hardware BDA dvb-s device driver and related app that needs registration to the ISO by myself ?
good question. give it a try.
Thank you very mutch, this image is the best!
Thanks!
i don’t know if it’s possible but Microsoft DaRT would be really nice to have in future releases.
Your rescue DVD is the only one that has the latest windows kernel and lots of cool utilities bundled in and. Thank you.
Hi, This Work is great, Can you bring me a link to the MS to download the Software?
Thanks a lot, friend!!
Once again Good work G! :)
Thanks ! Love these versions they get better with every version !
Any time frame for a x64 with AHCI ?
No rush and thanks !
In application added you mentioned partition wizard as alternate browser instead of partition tool.
thanks. fixed
Great Job!
Thank you for your work!
I’m also an IT Professional and having this available in W7 x64 is very handy, and sometimes prefered method, depending on the task at hand. Thanks a lot for your hard work and efforts, with or without the W7 x64 Update!
Could you add HDDRawCopy to app list: http://hddguru.com/software/HDD-Raw-Copy-Tool/
Cool and useful tool, thanks for the FYI..
is it okay to delete some of apps in windows explorer? i would like this PE fir in 4GB usb flashdrive
Any apps in the Y:\\programs folder can be deleted
Thank you for your excellent work
please add my email to the share.
thanks
Seria possível você me ajudar a solucionar? Até mesmo me falando como montar manualmente a unicade “Y” já ajudaria.
Mais uma vez, parabéns pelo excelente trabalho! Como disse antes, tudo perfeito, ferramenta show. Mas me ajudaria mais ainda se eu pudesse colocar ela em multiboot.
Obrigado!
Did you try easy2boot?
Fiz com o WinSetupFromUSB
Many thanks. Great resource.
Cheers
Stu
Thx for the great work, every tool in it that you need at least once.
And thx for sharing this work to everyone.
Thanks for your hard work & x86 version. Will you release x64 version?
session system not working
Truly Saviour tool. Many thanks. Donated what I could.
That desktop color hurts my eyes though :) :)
Dave.
😎
Great job G…thanks a lot for this build. Looking forward to the x64! Keep up the wonderful work.
Redstone 3 x64 should be available early next week.
Many thanks, again!
If you need any help in your work, feel free to ask.
Will try to find time for you.
Thanks very much for creating & maintaining this. I’ve been using Redstone 2 for quite a while & appreciate the value of this tool. I’ve run into a couple snapgs with this latest release, though.
First, I have not been able to create a bootable USB using Rufus. I’ve tried the advice given elsewhere (i.e., to leave the values at their default) and I’ve also tried changing them to what seemed “logical”. The end result is the same: when I boot my Dell Precision computer and press F12 to be the boot options, with the old Redstone2 that I created a year or so ago, I get an option for UEFI: Sandisk Cruzer…, while with the new ones I’ve created using the new Redstone3, I do not see that option and cannot boot from it.
I’ve tried Rufus 2.11 and 2.18. I’ve tried starting by specifying the ISO file & letting Rufus choose the values and I’ve tried setting them to other values that seemed more promising – but still didn’t work.
I’ve also tried searching on this site and google-at-large to see if someone how documented the right values – to no avail.
I’m sure it is some obvious setting I’m getting wrong – I’ll appreciate any quick guidance just listing the right values for each field:
– Partition Scheme
– File system
– Cluster size
– Format Options
If it is already documented somewhere I apologize for my ineptness in not finding it – please just point me to the right place.
Thanks in advance,
Yosh
The x86 version will only UEFI-boot on a system which has 32-bit UEFI firmware. Most systems have 64-bit UEFI firmware.
Aha, I see. So how does one create a bootable x86 one and boot from it?
Or must I wait for the 64-bit version next week?
Thanks,
Yosh
You can Legacy\MBR boot from x86 Gandalf, but not UEFI-64 boot.
So you must use x64 version of Gandalf to UEFI-64 boot.
Gandalf your x86 Redstone 3 build is a great alternative for PC users looking to change up their operating system a bit with some features. You can get the x86 Redstone 3 build from Google Drive, a great cloud sharing platform. Cloud security is key in ensuring that information and data shared on cloud platforms such as Google Drive are kept safe for people to use. I really like the design of the Redstone 3 and the backup disc and image storing.
Reflect won’t mount images in your newest version. Worked ok in previous version.
will check . thx
Thank you!! :)
found the problem. was missing the driver. Will fix it for the x86 version in the monthly update in april. For the upcoming x64 release it should work.
Confirmed working in x64 release thanks!! Only thing missing is the file association (RS2 or TH2 had it). And if possible, a context menu option to un-mount?
Thank you!
HDclone asks for activation – pressing single activation works only 3 usage times.
is there any solution?
thank you!
rebooting the usb should reset it.
Hello my friend
Can you help me with the download link for the x86 2018 version
