    Thanks for backupper inclusion :)

  2. Malakia says:

    Thanks for the new update!

Looks great, just don’t seem to find Crystal Disk Info in the build. It’s not in HD tasks\Diagnostics somehow.

  3. old Rossy says:

    Couple of Q’s:
    1. Is it possible to use an RDP client (even MS’s) to access this Win10PE?

    2. *IF* it is then is there anything to do to make that accessible on a ‘headless’ PC – Wake on LAN etc. I would hope will work.

    3. Does Google Drive need me to log-in and copy the ISO to my own space before I download it? My first download failed at just over 2GB and the 2nd at 2.5GB

    • gandalf50 says:

I use anydesk to remote into the PE from another device. I suppose it might be possible to have anydesk launch on startup with a preconfigured password protected account and then access it that way. Though i havent test this. You don’t have to sign into google drive to download.

  4. Miguel Aracena D. says:

Hello, thanks for the effort you put into developing this tool.
I suggest naming each version year-month-day to avoid confusion.
    Thank you very much again.

  6. jeremy says:

    Hi,

    thank for this good version
unfortunately i cant change keyboard language that is normal ?

  7. Beho says:

I have a question, is there a way to fit this to 4GB USB? Which of the programs can I delete from the ISO file that would make it less than 4GB?

  8. Kevin Wong says:

I keep getting wrong MD5 checksum. Anyone can verify?

  9. Renan says:

Thanks, i`m from brazil, please add portuguese braziliam language to next update. nice work.

  10. old Rossy says:

Has anyone squeezed one of these (64 or 32b) onto a DVD?
I have a need to keep it as read-only if that’s possible?

If not – can anyone point me to a guide to shrinking them as someone obviously has because they are talking of removing AV tools or definition files.

Many thanks in advance… old B…

  11. Phil C says:

    Thanks so much for this!
I found the Oven just a few days ago, but it is too hot for me!
I really like your build… maybe I don’t need my normal Win10 any more ;)
I always like to customize my Windows installs and use many portable apps, and I may replace some of what I use with ones I found on your build.
Now i must see if I can make my changes in your build persistent.
That is mostly the color scheme.. So far it works very nice!

  12. n3xion says:

Been using your PE’s for a long time, absolutely love them. WinNTSetup appears to be missing in this build. Is it possible to add it into the next one along with CrystalDiskInfo?

  13. Alfredo says:

    Hi,
your PE image looks great. Thanks for assembling it.
However, I see TeamViewer portable is not working on it. Is it? Whenever I try to start it, I get error with exception unknown 0xc06d007e.
    Is that a known issue?

    regards

  14. Chris says:

Thanks for making such a useful tool. I’ve started working with UEFI only computers (Surface Pro, ThinkPad X1 Tablet). UEFI requires a FAT32 boot source (HDD, USB, etc.) which I have, but how can I get this to boot on a UEFI only computer?

      • Chris says:

Malakia thanks, but I think I wasn’t clear. I normally use Yumi to create multi-iso boot USB drives. I can boot Gandalf natively from the USB drive, but I’m trying to build a multi-iso boot UEFI USB for UEFI only computers. Yumi has a UEFI version but it doesn’t look like it’s multi-ISO like original Yumi. Do you know of a UEFI multi-iso boot creator?

        • Malakia says:

Yes, you can do this with Easy2boot.
Convert your iso’s to .imgptn image using the mpi toolpack.
Then you can UEFI boot them on an usb stick with easy2boot.
I have a usb stick with 6 different uefi images using this method, inc. the latest Gandalf’s

          • Chris says:

Appreciate the info. Can’t figure out how to do it. Yumi is much simpler, wish I could get that to work. UEFI is a PIA.

  15. Lance says:

Can you open .tib files using the included Acronis True Image? Or does it only have the same functions as the bootable iso of Acronis True Image?

  16. Dave says:

    A few quick ones…

Would it be possible to get VMware player on this?

I want to put this on a USB drive, that allows BIOS AND AHCI boot(secure boot), as the ISO can do now. How can I do this even with Rufus?

  17. Chris says:

I booted RS3 on a UEFI only high-res tablet (2560×1440). The resolution is very high and everying is very small and doesn’t scale. I can’t see anything within PE Network. I clicked the color square pecmd in the systray and tried to select a different resolution, nothing. Can I change the resolution to make this readable or is there something besides penetwork to load/manage network connections?

  18. Chris says:

Now I have another problem. Using a different USB drive, as I have done previously, I used Yumi to add the RS3 iso to the usb drive (grub4dos)as a bootable iso. I have greatly reduced the size of the ISB to 1.9GB (my RS2 iso I reduced to 2.6GB). I’m getting 0xc00000017 there isn’t enough memory available to create a ramdisk device. The computer I’m booting on is 16GB and the USB drive has plenty of space. It loads the 2.6Gb RS2 iso fine. Any idea what’s wrong with RS3?
