I’m definitely liking this latest release, which is quickly proving very useful. It loads much faster and now exits reliably and gracefully. Progress ! I find myself adding some fave apps and utilities — like TeraCopy, HashCalc, and the ZTree file manager — just to their own directories on the flash drive. So far, they all seem to work fine, with no need to resort to an ISO editor, or jump through other hoops. That’s pretty great too.

With some older editions of your PE collection, I could still put ’em onto a dual-layer DVD. As I previously mentioned, I don’t understand why you could not have apps that need to write something write to RAMdisk space ? RAM is plentiful these days, for many of us. Hiren’s and 2K10 Multiboot diag / repair Win PE collections have not been updated in quite some time, whereas you are updating yours regularly, but I know of at least one other stellar collection that gets updated a couple times per year, which *still* operates from a single-layer DVD. (Each of these PE collections do some things that the others don’t, so they ALL have real value.) Don’t get me wrong: I like flashdrives as much as anyone does, but some of the older computers I deal with won’t boot from them — and the CD or DVD is still as universal an option as you will find, even if you have “graduated” to Blu-Ray for your optical storage needs.

[And might I suggest that you add PayPal and Bitcoin options for donations ?]

    Thanks for the new version.
Why is System session set as Default, where in previous editions always Administrator session was loaded?
What is the benefit of System session?

  5. Tony says:

    I have two questions regarding Win10PE x64:

    1. Does this include DriveImage portable app?

    2. How to create a bootable USB from the downloaded iso?

    Regards,
    Tony
